I love this radio, but was having trouble updating the navigation maps. You have to update quickly to get the latest map guarantee. What I found out is that if you try to use a USB microSD converter that plugs into your computer, it may not work. I tried 2 different USB readers, and my computer wanted to format the disk. I have an SD slot on my laptop, and bingo When I put the microSD into the SD converter reader, it worked like a charm. The main reason that I upgraded was so that I could keep the maps up to date. I hope this helps someone else.
